The federal government has shown no public interest in this case. CT authorities don't want prying eyes, so have been able to get away with keeping outsiders in the dark by saying it's an "open" case that is "actively" being investigated.

While I have no evidence to offer to this tragic case, I can say that I was a frequent walker on Edgehill and in the general neighborhood 25 years ago. I so remember Suzanne. She was a frequent runner. Her persona was memorable -young and beautiful, a lovely face. She loved running - It must have been a wonderful release for her. She ran like a young thoroughbred.

Hi Andrea,

I'm wondering if you might have mistaken another young blond woman for Suzanne. I never heard anything about her being a runner, certainly not a "thoroughbred." Regardless, thanks for your message. -- R. Beach

Dear Randall, I would like to correspond with you. My Dad and Tom J attended CalTech together in the late 1950s , and stayed close ever since. My parents and Tom and Donna travel together frequently (even in their mid-80s). I lived with the Jovins as a young girl in Germany , slept in Suzanne’s room and went to elementary school and to her various after school activities with her. The unsolved nature of this case had always pained me so, but even more today as I’ve become more educated from listening to various investigative journalism reports on crimes (both solved and unsolved) on the incompetence and bias of many local and national police departments - not just in the US. At this moment I am immersed in Dark Valley on Apple Podcasts and I want to ask a couple questions about any connection between the Connecticut River Valley killer and Suzanne’s slaying. How can I contact you? Kindly , a friend of Suzanne’s.

Even if the police departments want to keep this sealed, couldn't the FBI and/or Justice Dept. declassify it? Is it for fear of lawsuits that they keep the files closed, and the case "open?"
