Well, the -- kudos to Dar for declining to participate. Incidentally, she babysat for my stepmother's daughter in or near Mount Kisco, my hometown. She did a nice show at Edgerton Park for the folk festival some years ago...
I had not thought about GGROBAR for years until now, and am reminded of the two brushes I have had with it: first, being buttonholed by Elmo (of Elmo and Patsy) at an ASCAP cocktail party at South by Southwest when Elmo decided that I, possibly the least connected individual in the entire room, was the perfect person to help him pitch his more serious material to the world; and second, having to tell the management of Razor & Tie labelmate Cledus T. Judd (No Relation) (yes, that was the official name of the act) that my client Dar Williams did not want to sing on his parody song (can you imagine?) “Grandma Got Run Over by a John Deere.”
I will check it out!
Take two -- Dar's song "The Baby Sitter's Here" is about her fun experiences with my stepmother's daughter.

If you want something different for certain, and without ear worms, do check out the song, and especially the lyrics, to Miles Davis’ “Blue Xmas.”
